Seriously, about a year or two ago, there seemed to be a hanfic BOOM!!! I don't know if it's just me, but I feel our passion for hanfic started decreasing since it became "banned" from h.net. We used to have an active target over there since we could let everyone know what was going on and stuff... For me it's been a way too long year or so, wheere I have neglected hanfic completely, so I feel like I'm out of the loop, and I've noticed I'm not the only one, seeing as there have been so little updates on some stories and some sites being shut down... etc. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like us writers, should have some sort of community so at least we know what's been going on in the hanfic world. Of course VA is spposed to be that for us, but I've seen the lack of activity and I'm really disappointed to see we're losing our passion. I'm on some sort of a rant mood, i'm sorry! can you tell?? LOL... anyways, I'm new to this boards but hanfic has been my passion for a while now, and after my sabatical I hope I'll get back to writing, and hopefully we'll all get that spark back. I'm sorry if this doesn't apply to you and I'm just way out of the hanfic community. Don't listen to me at all!! cause I'm weird like that!! THat gotten off my chest, I look forward to meeting all of my fellow hanfic writers!! The best wishes for all!!! Natalia

I think you hit the nail on the head. It was killed by Hanson.net. Which is sad, and sort of stupid on their part, since it was one of the things that kept a lot of people interested in Hanson during their droughts.
Oh well, sometimes you get what you wish for (like, no hanfic, but fewer fans as well...)

It's a sad shame.
Hanfic was my life once.
