does anyone know the story about either taylor or isaac in the hospital lobby with lines such as ..."a fake plant sitting in the corner" and "the baby reaching out for the empty air in front of him" and its a short story, excellent writing, anyone remember?  pleasehelpme. |

DEFINITELY not the one I was thinking of. Now I'm going to go crazy til I figure it out. I totally know the story, but I can't recall the author or the title--which means I won't be able to find it.
Somebody knows it! Come on folks, help us out here!

I wasn't sure if it was Isaac or Taylor...it might have been the Isaac one...it was about 2000 when it was written i do beleive...or wait, about 3 or 4 years ago. She used this incredible way ofwriting...something about the lady behind the counter eating candy and smacking her lips. ALSO, some kid comes up to him and starts touching his face and mouth (i DO think it's isaac) which was the story that you found? It was so good.
